Jordon
Brown is Director of Operations for Com-Linq Central Station.Jordon began work in the security industry in 1986, at the age of 14 (before licensing laws prevented such acts). Working part-time while going to school, he not only helped in installations, but also in sales, service, and the manufacturing of security screens. In 1991, Jordon began a full-time career with Guard Tronic, Inc.
In 1998, Jordon transferred from Guard Tronic's Muskogee, OK office to Fort Smith to become the central station manager for Com-Linq Central Station. In 2003, he was promoted to regional manager of Guard Tronic's Fort Smith, AR office.
Though not handling the day to day operations, Jordon is still heavily involved in almost all aspects of the central station.
Jordon is also Secretary/Treasurer of the Arkansas Security Alarm Association as well as Secretary/Treasurer of the Arkansas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. He was the winner of the 2003 NTS Instructor of the Year given by the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association. He also serves as the Training Chairman for the National Electronic Security Alliance where he also serves on their Board of Directors as the Vice-President. He also serves on the Arkansas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies, Arkansas' licensing authority. (article)
In July 2009, Jordon was names by Security Systems News as the "Top 20 Under 40" honoring the top industry professionals in the electronic security industry under 40 years old. ( full magazine | article)
